V40 '02 advice on resetting airbag light
Hi all,
having a V4 form '02 and having been happy about it, I have suddently run into an issue with my airbag light, which came on after moving the seats back and forth. What I have done this far: - checked the wiring under both seats (driver and passenger). All appears intact - disconnected the battery (both poles) and left it overnight, but to no avail can anyone recommend a good diagnostic tool which is not too pricey (approx. £50) for me to reset the lamp. Hopefully I can use it in other situations too. Looking forward to hear from you. Inger |

I used a "autel maxicheck pro" to diagnose the fault & reset the light.
It cost About £140 off ebay, but it does a few other things as well. If buying something like this off ebay, check the feedback thoroughly as there are some fake devices ! |

I expect you've got it sorted by now but I bought an iCarsoft one for about £100, v good and v easy to use.
