  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

your dealer should be well aware that the yellow/brown colour is volvo coolant which has lost it's corrosion inhibitor qualities , although the freezing point is still -37 C ... you cant get the knowledgeable staff these days can you ...

The factory used a poor quality coolant from about 2010 to 2015 , however the volvo coolant get from volvo parts dept has always been the very best and best value available , it does not require regular changing , so I suggest you get the coolant changed and point this out to them ! The radiators can rot due to this being neglected ...

Oh well, more expense next service! However if the Volvo coolant is as good as you say I might drain and refill my two old crocks with it!

indeed , that is what i have been doing since the 1970's .. and my 1988 340 still has the original volvo coolant , still clear bright green , still protected to -37C ...
