Update on my V60 2.0 VEA D4 with high oil use and suspected oil leak - Car went in Monday evening but they started looking into it yesterday. No info yesterday other than they needed to keep it for further investigation. They left me a message today saying that they have investigated and found no oil leak, positive pressure from the oil filler cap is normal and 250ml oil usage per week is normal for a car with 120,000 miles (i would strongly disagree as my 324,000 d5 hardly uses any). They will be charging me 2 hours labour for in effect finding nothing.
Now they also mentioned they had done recall work which I assume is for the notice sent to me in July this year. So the question is will my pressure out of the filler cap have disappeared due to whatever work has been carried out? and in time my oil usage returns to normal? Does anyone know what the recall work involves?

My 1962 Land Rover on the other hand probably does consume 250ml of oil a week! Also curious as to what the recall work involves.
