Default S60 T4 1.6T issues.

Hi everyone,

I'm driving a 2012 Volvo S60 T4 1.6T. There are two issues that has been bothering me and I was wondering if anyone here have any experience.

Turbo
My S60 is running a turbo with part number 36002107. I had a stage 1 map installed some time ago and I don't remember hearing a louder-than-usual turbo spool right after the tune back then. To me, it sounded like the wastegate spring has lost it's recoil elasticity (if that's how it's described), causing pre-mature release of pressure in my turbo. I had the urge to replace the entire unit with a China made original Borg Warner but my mechanic suggested that I replace the Turbo Diverter Valve and Turbo Control Solenoid instead. The problem was never solved.

I did a research online, hoping someone would offer a turbo rebuild kit or a wastegate replacement but there is nothing like that. I'm seriously considering of picking up a China made Borg Warner turbo for ~ GBP 365.

Steering pulling left

My mechanic suspected a few components that might be causing the pull and I've replaced the following with original Volvo parts:
- Front shock absorber (L+R)
- Front control arm (L+R)
- Rear shock absorber (L+R)
- New set of Pirelli P7 tyres
- Megan Racing rear camber kit

Still, whenever I let my hands off the steering wheel it pulls to the left. I had a few mechanics check for any loose part especially tie rods, ball joints, etc but they found nothing out of ordinary.

I appreciate the time taken to read through my problems. Have a wonderful day/evening.

Best regards,
EricL
