My 1998 Volvo V70 R Saffron 2WD Manual 155k

Hello all,

Due to personal reasons and money being tight it tears me up to say I have to sell Saffy, my 1998 V70 R 2WD Manual .
As some of you may or may not know I acquired Saffy from another Volvo member on here at the beginning of October . This was my “hero” of a Volvo that came in THAT colour , plus it’s a Manual, and I was so excited to get 1 as they aren’t too many of them left.
So I got this with the intention of doing anything necessary, spending what was needed on it to get it up to a high standard , keeping it and enjoying it. Typically life throws a spanner into the works just when you weren’t expecting it and I have to sell.. I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
So ..there is a tonne of history with this car, a thick file of invoices and paperwork . I know it’s 3 previous owners are on VOS and it’s been well looked after. I have a file of previous invoices and so far myself spent over £1500 on it so I’m not taking this decision lightly. This is the 3rd time I’ve bought a car , spent a fortune on it to then sell it and it hurts a lot lol!

Maintenance:
Just before I bought it the PCV , an ABS Sensor and ABS Wiring loom were changed
All Electric windows and Mirrors work, Heated Seats work, Air Con is ice cold , Sony Head Unit fitted with Bluetooth and Telephone Handsfree .
No ABS / CEL
Black leather interior - no tears or damage .
The Timing Belt and Water pump were done recently and not due for a long time.
11 months MOT ( new when I got the car ) - No Advisories
153k miles ( not 155k as it says in the title .. can't change it )

Full Suspension change : New Front and Rear Struts and Springs Kit - Replacing worn Nivomats
Genuine Volvo filter change + correct grade Castrol Magnatec
Genuine Volvo Spark Plugs
Genuine Accelerator Cable
New J & R Air Filter
New Rubber Mats

Custom Stainless Steel 2.5” Cat Back Exhaust System from Stainless Creations in Falkirk

New Windscreen Wiper blades and Headlight Blades
Upgraded Headlamp Bulbs
New Plates and Personal Reg bought from DVLA R70 YEH .. ( I may remove this and save it for another some day.)
Front Eggcrate Grille Black Plasti-Dipped

Only negative points are small bubble of rust on tailgate and laquer peel on the rear spoiler. I was going to get it done professionally in a bodyshop after the winter .

I won’t be advertising it elsewhere at the moment but if anyone is interested feel free to ask questions.
I’m asking £4995 or nearest offer , plate can be included at that price or open to negotiation. I feel what I’m asking is fair but I know it’s really down to what someone will pay for it , and I know it’s not the best time to sell.

It's probably access controlled on Google photos, you'll either need to set all of the images as public (I don't use it so don't know how to do this exactly) or upload them to a public (non access controlled host) such as Flickr.
