Default '98 S40 2.0T (B4204T) cracked cylinder wall

Hi All.

I'm having a major problem with my car, a 1998 S40 2.0T(B4204T) manual transmission with 240000KM on the clock.

Long story short. I bought the car, then, after one year, the car started to pressurize the coolant system, and the car has never been overheated. So I

thought "bad luck, blown head gasket, but WHY!!??". Few days later, I took off the cylinder head and there was she, laughing at me (trollface here). A crack on #3 cylinder wall.

After inspecting the block, cylinder head and head gasket, i realized that the previous owner has badly overheated the car.

I needed the car running again ASAP, so took the risk and changed the head gasket, and the car worked fine for another year, until now.

I want to repair the car, but don't know if my block can be properly repaired. And getting the Darton sleeves is not an option here (Argentina) because nobody sells them.

A few days ago I found on internet two engines:

the first one is a 2001-2004 T4 engine (guess it's a B4204T5 ,with turbo, a/c compressor, power steering pump, alternator, ignition, AT torque converter, etc) with variable valve timing (VVT) at $15000 local currency (around $1000 USD)

if anyone is interested to see the engine, this is the link: http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar/...p-completo-_JM

And the other engine is a B4204S (N/A) from a 1997 V40 with 160000 KM,also with power steering pump, alternator, apparently in good shape for around $100 USD less than the T4 engine

which engine is better to choose?

if its better to go with T4 engine:

Will work the new engine with all the electronic stuff from my car (ECU, Immo, etc)? Has anybody made or heard about this swap?
I am worried about the differences of the T4 engine differences has with mine: compression ratio of 8.5:1 vs 9:1, VVT vs no VVT, different sensors?
or is better to use the T4 block with my engine internals and cylinder head?

or if it's better to get the N/A engine:

Can this N/A block support turbocharger? obviously with my cylinder head and internals. as far as I know, turbocharged engines have different pistons, stronger connecting rods, camshafts, valves, etc)

any advice is appreciated.
thanks.

You cant just swap the internals between blocks as the pistons and main bearing have codes stamped on the block according to their size.

B4204T5 engine will not work in your car with your ECU and cable harness. The T4 have some different and more sensors.
