Yes. I think that is all the S90s are, aren't they?
Ringing them in the morning to let them know and get it booked in sometime to get sorted. it is not a big problem - cannot miss what I have never had - just strange that i was told specifically it had AA, yet it does not appear to |

In "My Volvo", released today, there is information regarding Android Auto.
It may be old information for some, but may be worth a read, for others. tem. My mistake, it was released on the 27th January. tem.

Mine went in today for a number of issues to be sorted, including missing AA - should get it back tomorrow (one of the issues requires an overnight stay)
Will see how things go. |

Dealer just phoned. I have not seen it, but apparently the situation is:
However, now there is an airbag warning light in the dash (though not according to diagnostic check). Volvo head office on it, but no resolution as yet Another overnight stay at the Volvo-Hospital for the S90

My car went in late January and had a software update. I thought that the November battery drain feature (!) had been identified at that point and wouldn't be introduced to my vehicle.
I didn't see the issue for a couple of weeks, but it started showing occasionally a week or so back, and start stop is activating far less. However, just before it started I had spent some time hoovering the car, cleaning the interior and conditioning the leather, a lot of time with doors open etc (this would have flattened my previous X5 to the point it wouldn't start if I didn't put it on a trickle charge while doing it). So initially I wasn't too concerned, just thought I'd drained it a bit while cleaning. We then did a 250 mile journey, with only one short stop and then parked the car. 36 hour later the car was again given the battery warning. I'd have thought a 250 mile journey would have been enough time to get the battery charged again, but now I'm not sure. Maybe I have the issue, maybe I don't! Will continue to monitor. :wq

Got to stay in another night. Airbag AND ABS warning lights now
Volvo UK had a go, but no luck. Volvo Sweden involved now. As someone who works in IT, and regularly uses WebEx and Remote Desktop style solutions - the description of a "WebEx with your car" quite tickled me So, now a week since they were informed of issues, and no final resolution - Somewhat hacked off (remember this is my second S90 this year). At least now I am being kept informed, and are ringing me regularly.

Bummer. It took a few weeks to correctly diagnose the comms problem in my car. I wonder if their diagnostic systems are as good as they could/should be on such a complex car.

After 3 nights away, the S90 is back.
But now there is a new issue. Drivers side door lock/unlock switch is sticking. I know it was fine on Mon morning as I unlocked the doors from the inside to let my Wife in. When I picked her up yesterday I pressed unlock, it felt "spongy" and promptly all the windows rolled down as it had stuck! Passenger side switch has a very tactile click action, drivers side feels like there is a spring missing or something. No idea why they would have to mess about near the door switches, but I will be taking a good look at it when it gets light to see if I can see any signs of the door cards having been removed. Will be on to the dealer to let them know later as well. I really cannot believe how much hassle it has been buying and owning this b****y car. It has been one thing after another, and I really wish I had never walked into the Volvo dealership! Volvo state (on their web site): "We make people’s lives less complicated". I would disagree vehemently

Could the switch be some crud that's got in there?? Might be worth some gentle compressed air being blown around it?
