Cylinder head has been fitted to my T5 to cure an oil leak which it did. Took them all day to get the camshafts to turn where the head had been sitting around for a while but now it is running and my mechanic says you can feel the increase in power BUT I am not to stomp it for about 500 miles!! gonna kill me waiting!

Brought it home today, finally. MOT turned out to be a nightmare. New head cured "blue smoke" but though looking fine it failed the emissions on all readings! Transpired cat was choked up with oil. They cleared that and took it for a new MOT who then failed it on a chip in the screen, same chip has been there for 7 years but this ****** failed it. New screen fitted. Final cost with new head, screen etc over £1000. But it goes like stink, I could not resist one quick blast and with an LPG system fitted I could not buy the same car for a grand so, skint but very happy with the performance.
