I have taken a review of other childish things and I feel I can now say that I no longer believe in the white haired man either, he may have asked what we wanted and made promises including a fanciful ecofriendly delivery system but, and those of a sensitive disposition should look away, Father Christmas is a fraud.
For balance I have also reconsidered the story of Chicken Licken and concluded the story that the sky is falling is a massive over exaggeration and Chicken Licken needs to get a grip, an acorn fell on his head, which whilst it may be a sign of autumn and a harbinger of winter, does not signify the end of the world. Although I do still find the character of Foxy Loxy to be deeply suspect, offering an expedient solution but really only acting in his own interests.

On the upside I did find some petrol at the local Tesco on the way home from work this morning so I'll be able to get to work for the rest of the week.

I remember being told that back in the seventies? There was a salt shortage because someone said russian salt miners were going on strike. It's not a new thing.

At least the Stanlow refinery doesn't now look to be closing down due to not being able to pay its overdue VAT returns. But once again this shows how so many vital UK capabilities are now hanging by a thread. If only we could fill up our vehicles with sovrin tea.
