Default For reluctant sale 2006 (P2) V70 D5 AWD

Hi all,
It's with much regret that I've decided to sell on my Gold 2006 V70 D5 AWD which I've owned since July 2020. The AWD does actually work so its a true AWD.
It also has a tower fitted which I only use to bike our bike carrier on.
I'm going to list all the great points and the not so great points about my car as I'm an honest fella and not looking to mislead anyone interested in my car. I'm only selling as we have 2 other cars in the house and I work mostly from home now so she just doesn't get used. Here goes. Might take a while but here goes.

Owned since July 2020 when I bought her with 122097 miles. It now has 135988 miles. MOT until Jan 2024 with one advisory from the last MOT regarding corroded rear coil springs. Please look up the MOT history reg is SD06 UBP. I have the original service book and owners handbook.
I'm a complete geek when it comes to preventive maintenance and keep a record of what I've done so I'm going to list the big ticket items and anyone interested can message for any more details. Regarding servicing details recoded in original service book are:

PDI 1st June 2006 Taggarts Volvo, Glasgow
Service 16th Aug 2007 Taggarts Volvo Glasgow
Service 3rd Sept 2008 Taggarts Volvo Glasgow
Service 10th Sept 2009 Taggarts Volvo Glasgow
Service 30th Oct 2010 Deeside Volvo Connah's Quay
Service 13th Oct 2011 Deeside Volvo Connah's Quay
Service 5th Oct 2012 AL's Place Merseyside
Service 11th Oct 2013 Al's Place Merseyside
Service + timing belt 15th Oct 2014 Al's Place Merseyside
Service 23rd Oct 2015 Al's Place Merseyside
Service 20th Oct 2016 Al's Place Merseyside
Service 22nd Oct 2017 Meliden Motors, Meliden
Service 14th Dec 2018 Meliden Motors, Meliden
Service 30th Jan 2020 PL Auto's Crewe

Servicing since I have owner her are:

Full service 7th July 2020
Full service + cam belt 1st July 2021
Full service 1st Oct 2022

So that the routine service items but in addition to the above I've done or had done:

Replacement swirl flaps July 2020
Power steering system fluid changed July 2020
Replaced all engine mounts (vacuum ones and the top mount ones) Jan 2021
Replaced front brake disc's and pads Jan 2021
Hydraulic lifters replaced (to resolve tugboat noise) which I bought from a forum member August 2021
Aux belt and follower replaced Aug 2021
Rear tyres replaced Aug 2021
Haldex oil and filter changed April 2022
Both lower control arms and ball joints replaced Dec 2022
Replaced leaking heater core seals
AWD oil pressure switch replaced Jan 2023
Heater plugs replaced Jan 2023
Replaced front tyres January 2023
Auto box fluid flush January 2023

So regarding condition the bodywork is in excellent condition with 'age related scuffs and marks' but for a 16 year old car I would describe the condition as above average. Alloys do have some scuffs and marks but again for the age I would say above average condition.
The engine is absolutely sweet as you image after all of the servicing and I'd have no concerns driving her to the other side of the world. Sounds a bit extreme but its absolutely lovely.

Now the not so good bits:
Parking sensor number 2 needs to be replaced so a 'Parking sensor service required' comes up on the dash which you can then clear.
The radio lights do not work nor does the radio unit. I have wired in a bluetooth adaptor to the unit which I pair to my phone so I can still listen to music from my phone through the head unit.
The material on the inside on the two A pillars is starting to come away at the edges.
Two of the auto box solenoids need replacing as even after the auto box fluid change after about 20 mins of driving the gear changes are not always as smooth with the occasional clunk. Still drives superbly but needs some attention I think.

I think that the main points but if you think of any questions please feel free to contact me either through the forum or to matthewevans1229@gmail.com or 07780991562.

i'm looking for £2200 which after looking at similar cars is very reasonable but I'm not looking to make money, I just want to make sure it goes to someone who will use it. I hope the attachments photos are ok but if not please let me know.

Nice car, and quite rare, at a fair price. Good luck with the sale

Delighted to say that I caught up with Matt last week and this now has a new home with me in West Oxfordshire.

Good to be back in the fold.

And thanks to Matt for being a lovely bloke and treating his V70 like a princess.
