11,ooo miles

The dealer only offered 23k againt a brand new exec

Obviously not like for like but i just got 23k PX for my Discovery 3 against a new Exec with 10k discount. The Disco is a TDV6 HSE with 59K on the clock, 08 reg with RSE, spots, ipod integration and side tubes.

I'd have thought yours, given age and mileage would be more desirable than my Disco, that said with Volvo doing Exec's with 10-12k discount PX values on XCs are bound to be affected, With Discovery 4 being ridiculously expensive, high spec Disco 3's still seem in demand.

Best bet is a trawl on autotrader, a We Buy Any Car valuation and spend £3.50 on a parkers valuation, should give you an accurate average?

Also I note 23k for your PX, plus cost to change of 16k....that puts the exec at 39k or thereabouts, way to high. Just ordered mine with RSE for 34k all in.

Cheers,

James.

Nope, manual! To be honest 2nd hand prices tend to exclude extras like sun roof etc, if you look at glasses guide they don't have a column saying add X for sunroof, y for running plates etc etc

I think you are right but here is my experience. Turned up for part exchange with my Audi and was give a below / low part ex because it had no extra hence not desirable

Turned up with my (far too loaded) active and was told extra does not add any value.

Anyway, their loss, not mine. I will keep my active which is great btw and yes, mpg is creeping up above 30mpg even at 80 mph cruising now that it has 11k on the clock
