Added some onboard Air,MUUUAAH<---evil laugh
CROSS post from volvospeed.com , I just needed to share this with my XC90 brothers and sisters on the other side of the pond. Enjoy
So i was on a mission to get 18" PEGS to replace my beat up 18" Atlantis wheels. Taking the advice from a friend that said "Oh yeah they will fit" I bought them. XC90's have a 67.1 centerbore, theres are 65.1. They dont work Now that i had the afternoon free since i was planning to mount my wheels onto the XC90 and do some more HIDZ in the hi beam, fogs, and add another set to the rear tail lights. I have a full AIR RIde setup and didnt want that to start rusting out so......MUUUUAAAH <-----thats supposed to be a evil laugh LOL I added the following to the XC90 Two ViAIR 480C Compressors One 5 Gallon Tank One 1/2" to 4 1/4" solenoid One Set (4pcs) of Hornblasters Airhorns One 1/2" Solenoid This recipe = LOUD @SS GTF out of my way sound. original project Alternate project Jacked up One One is good two must be better Look at the happy family, i already can hear the beautiful music that they will be playing together..the sweet sound of HONK Need to recycle this box Crappy out of focus picture Ahh thats better, gotta clean those stainless steel mufflers Dayum, Who's that ugly bastard with those beautiful horns and chrome air tank LOL. After 5hrs of fabrication to get all that equipment up under the truck, the next day i was feeling the need for this. Here's a video just to give you a idea what was done, not my video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMgcv...layer_embedded

If they are for genuine purpose such as you describe, then that's a different matter.
However your video only features rather juvenile behaviour. By the way, use of your vehicle horn in this manner in the UK would constitute a motoring offence. Each to his own as Bestgear has said. |

A basic system like this costs around $800-1200USD depending on how complicated the install will be. my system would retail around $2k because of the uprated compressors and other misc componets. Honestly, who NEEDS to have HIDs in the reverse lights, or big airhorns like these, or alarm and remote starter with 1 mile paging, or GPS tracking with cell phone capabilities, or backup camera, or dension ipod adapters, or flo-tv, its a disease!!!

I have some Dixie horns (Dukes of Hazard) that my brother bought for me years ago. Alway's fancied putting them on the Volvo, just never had the time. Its the 2 year old in me according to the wife. I just fancy giving them a blast, and looking around with everyone else to see who the imbecile was who did it. I believe there is no point in growing up completely! The only worry is it may lead to jumping gorges and Sheriff baiting! I suspect these aren't thing that are advisable in an XC.
