Default ABS Service/Brake assist service - BCM-0070

Hi All

I have just received our "new to us" 2005 XC90 D5 SE Auto back from the independent dealer after having an oil leak on the driveshaft fixed.

Two warnings have come up on the dash display - ABS Service Required and Brake Assist Service required. The ABS light is always on.

I took the car to a friendly garage to have it plugged into the diagnostics machine and the following code has come up: BCM-0070.

The dealer has given me until tomorrow morning to decide if we do not want the car and he will refund our money and collect it. We also bought a warranty from him and he has assured me if we keep the car the fault should be covered under the warranty (Warranty by a third party company).

Can anyone help with this problem? Has anyone experienced it before who can tell me how much the repair will be and if it is likely to be covered by our warranty??
