  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default S60 Volvo on call app problem

Hi. I'm new to the forum as I have recently purchased a 2018 Volvo S60 R Design D4 Lux Nav. Very nice car however I am having great difficulty getting the Volvo on call to work. Have had several conversations with the dealer who say it is my phone - I have purchased a new phone and still won't work. I enter the VIN number as requested which the app accepts, I then enter the four digit code which states the code doesn't match the VIN so the app won't work. I have had several codes generated by the dealer and also reinstalled the app. Dealer say they can't do anything about it. Any advice much appreciated. Thanks. Andy

Take it back and tell him to fix it or you want your money back,as not fit for purpose.

Hi Andy,

My memory is a bit vague on this as it was a couple of years ago. The salesman couldn't get my new 2yo car registered on my VOC app and he suggested it would work in a few days.
The key was the car still thought it was on another account. After doing a My Car-> Settings -> factory reset (which is meant to be done on change of ownership, but had not been done by the salesman), I was able to add the car to my Volvo ID.

I had the same issue.
If you have “On Call” button -> try to use it and let the operator know you are trying to activate your VOC subscription. They will switch it on on their side and App will see the car in a few minutes. In any case you will receive a support and advise from (if I understand correctly) the Volvo itself.
