The IPD item looks very well made and yes it’s steel not stainless and Mig welded not Tig welded but compared to that retro turbo item it’s vastly superior. Even if it was perfect the retro turbo one isn’t 3 times better.

Stainless is more prone to cracking especially by welds on thin wall tube so it’d have to be very well made to stop that and I’d do it with thicker tube.

It's a real shame to hear about this too.....
i have purchased Polybushes from Piotr too which i have so far had no problem with so far...
Again, same with the Panhard rod, no problems at all...

i did however have a big problem with some caliper brackets supplied to fit Alfa Brera Brembos to my 940. I have had 2 sets so far, neither of which have been correct and again the seller went quiet. A forum member is currently trying to remanufacture them for me. I am stuck with calipers , discs and pads that i have paid for but cannot fit at the moment.
Very poor form indeed from Piotr to simply go quiet. I have faith in the products but i think he is subbing out the manufacture of some bits and the quality is suffering. i do know that he holds down a job, has a young family and does the Retroturbo stuff on the side. which cannot be easy but it is still no excuse for terrible customer service
