Default Loss of power

Hi, So a new problem has come up. Everytime i turn right i lose power, i can floor it and its as though im sitting on the brakes. The whole engine note changes to a deeper bass note. I checked the pump, prop, everything. any ideas where to look!

Is it fair to say that the steering direction does appear to be the common factor?

So, a simple question from me a simpleton: what is there, fuel supply or electrical connection or air hose or otherwise, that gets pushed, pulled, pinched, squashed, kinked or strained et cetera by the mechanism or the wheels or ... whatever, when the steering is turned in that direction?

Or does the steering produce a resistance that the power cannot overcome when turned in that direction?

Or ... something to do with the steering?

Had a similar problem on my B200f when I bought it turned out to be a loose MAF sensor plug due to the guy who serviced it before me he changed the air filter and didn't plug it back in properly .

I have a question though guys where would the fuel filter be found ? I run the car dry and it seems a little sluggish now so I want to check it's clear but I'll be buggered if I can see it 93 B200f any ideas cheers

Drivers side bulkhead usually on a 240. Big grey canister with green steel fuel pipes at each end.

On my 92 B200F the fuel filter is near the petrol tank, next to the nearside rear suspension, held in a sort-of cradle/frame. Not convenient to get to.
