Default Replace rear shocks along with springs?

Going to tackle replacing my rear coil springs, as one of them is very corroded and has broken at one end.

However, I'm wondering if it would make sense for me to also replace the shocks while I've got them out? As for the last 3 MOTs they have been flagged: "Rear Shock absorbers has slight external damage to the casing Corroded. Both (5.3.2 (b))".
