Engine: 70 T5: - Top engine mount

HI ALL,
replaced the top engine mount with volvo original 2 months ago , noticed today that the bush has moved to the left about 3 mm , when i replaced it i had to use the press at work to get the old one off and the new one in, so this would indicate a lot of side movement, your comments would be appreciated.

Hmm, il keep this thread under watch as my engine mount has disapeared and i have one on order..

check ur side mounts for play

Disappeared? In what way? The entire top mount is missing? Including the bracket?

The whole rubber in the top mount is not there

Got a replacement rubber bush on order tho..

So not gonna drive until done

Yes, that is the later design (MY2005 onwards????) but AFAIK it's a direct bolt-on replacement.

thats fine hammy mine is the same, i just replaced the bush last time,.
