Breaking 2.5 10v saloon

Hi there
I am breaking my saloon most parts available inc v good 1/2 leather interior and good engine and box open to offers on all parts,please give me a shout if you need anything .

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it hasn't got a MAF.

Hi did it have cruise control?. if yes i need the bracket that holds the bellows onto the under side of dash and pipe that goes from bellows to vac unit under battery. cheers rob

Well, clearly it's not my car so it's up to the seller to clarify, but the MAF sensor was introduced later - about year 2000 I think, and on the 20 valve engine. The seller is breaking a 10 valve 850, which puts it before/including (early) 1997.

ahhh ok, didnt know that. I have a N reg 850 2.4 N/A, do you know what the sensor is on the airbox, exactly where the air flow meter is on the T5's? I thought it was the MAF as its in the same place as the 850 T5's?

If it's a 10 valve engine, from what you've said I believe it will be the inlet air temperature sensor. If it's 20 valve I guess it could be a MAF, if I've got my dates wrong. I have two 2.5 10 valve Volvos so I do not claim to be an expert on 20 valve engines.

The car is an N reg 1996 let me know what part you want on the air box ,all should be ok as it was on the road up untill 2 months ago (still has 10mths mot actually )but surplus to requirements, ran very well 127000mls only.
