Electric Silver Coarse Flake vs. 'normal' Silver?
I'm getting a new XC90 and I'm torn between a Titanium Grey and Electric Silver Coarse Flake but I've not been able to find an example of the latter to see 'in the flesh'. As I'm getting a SE Sport with extra aluminium trim on it i'm afraid the silver may be too 'plain' with the extra trim which won't contrast at all. Has anyone seen an Electric Silver vs. normal Silver who could express how different it looks. Does it look any darker or just more grainy close up?
Any comments much appreciated! Thanks Grant Last edited by Grant Smith; May 5th, 2007 at 23:23. |

I've got an eectric silver XC90 and thinks that it looks great - it is darker than normal silver with an almost blue tint to it.
I would say however that a darker colour XC90 looks fantastic when clean and I think Titanium grey now looks fantastic with the new chrome trim on the 2007 models. I have attached a few pics but I think you mustee the colour 'in the flesh' to see whether you like it - it is certainly very different to normal silver and looks lovely in the sunshine. Jon
