  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

Yes, basically, it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, but when it does it makes a helluva racket.

I'll prob still go with a new Valeo. Done and dusted that way. As you say, main stealer wanted ~£680 and that's exchange. Words failed me.

additional thoughts:

clutch gap on AC compressor should be 0.3-0.5mm
i actually bought a feeler gauge for it- waste of money
use your credid/debit card instead
if you can push it in the gam with no resistance- gap too big
if you can only "work it in" with some pressure, tugging, moving around etc, its about right

and try not to damage the card- you will have to pay for parts, even if its only zipties

Default Old A/C compressor

Any ideas what to do with the old unit? A genuine Volvo item with a dickie clutch. For sure it could be recycled / repaired?

Any ideas / takers?
