fan belt

I need to know how to change the fan belt/ aux belt on my v70 d5 2008 new shape 185 bhp.
i heard a flicking noise under the bonnet and saw the edge of the outer belt was starting to fray, i have driven her home and have ordered the part from volvo for the morning. they wanted 280 euro to fit the fan belt!!!!!!!!!!
I can do it myself i just need a pointer of time tools etc. we are rural in the country and with no car we are stranded so good instructions would be a godsend for me. thanks guys
