Green Silicate Antifreeze without added OAT technology
Hi
Does anyone know where I can buy reasonably priced concentrate not pre-mixed Green Silicate Antifreeze without added OAT technology? I was getting it at a good price but now they all seem to have added OAT in with the silicate which is not what I want? I know Volvos will sell it but it will cost an arm and a leg!

I always get my concentrated coolant from a dealer.
Guaranteed correct and competitively priced.

If you want old skool EG antifreeze I'd go for Comma Super Coldmaster

Yes, thats what I've discovered. I've discovered today that my previous green pure silicate one had been hybridised with OAT without my knowledge, any chance that that could have caused my minor head gasket fail or the failure of my header tank lower hose?

Halfords no longer recommend the Comma one for my 940, they must know something we don't, maybe that is hybridised with something now too?
This product is not suitable for your vehicle To find the one that is click here The only one they recommend is the Halfords silicate antifreeze.

Super Coldmaster is a bog standard EG antifreeze and is also fine for older steel engines

The coolant I have been using guarantees it can be mixed with other coolants so I should be ok to mix my old green one with the Super Coldmaster blue one. I've ordered 5litres concentrate Super Coldmaster on Ebay, £19.99, last one. Cheers everyone
