P3 XC70 (2008) Front Grille

Hi!

Does anybody out there have experience of replacing the front grille on their XC70? Mine was taken out by an airborne pheasant a while back and I need to find a replacement grille. I’ve found them on eBay but not wanting to pay the £200+ price for some plastic. I’ve tried online breakers but nobody has come forward to say they have one.
Can any body tell me if the grill from a P3 V70 or even anything from a P2 variant would fit as they seem to be more readily available and cheaper.

Unfortunately P3 V70 and XC70 have different grilles:

P2 grilles won't fit P3 either

Here's a Youtube guide by Yuri the Russian in Canada. You'll have to be a bit brave but it's relatively easy. Watch it a couple of times before having a go.
