Had noticed the suspension looked high and for aoment I thought that it might have had no engine. "A home for my engine" I thought!

But Dave's correct. Ad has been pulled. Maybe I shouldn't have brought it to this forum''s attention!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for that, i also found a link on that site for live streaming of the auction (looks like it starts @ 1300hrs?) if anyone is interested :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDbj439a89A

Also more pictures of the car in question, the suspension looks high all round, suggesting it had new springs during the restoration.

Default Ad not pulled!

As not pulled. Just listened in live to the auction. Very exciting!

Bidding started at 3.5 and very enthusiastically bid to 6.9

SOLD (not to me, I hasten to add...)

I obviously misread the start time then, sorry about that!

It won't make its way to the sunny flatlands of Suffolk then?

If you want a project, there's a Volvo 1800 I spotted rotting away by an ungrateful owner. Obviously to prevent theft, the owner had parked cars blocking access to the car, yet the poor thing has sat there for years rusting away.

To the negligent whomever you are, I hope there is a special place in hell for people like you. I just had to rant a bit as I'm feeling a bit helpless!

London, maybe more SW though, a Volvo 1800 "E", parked right next to a decaying Cadillac.
