Default S60 D3 clutch

It looks like the slave cylinder on my 67k miles S60 D3 decided to give up yesterday. At the lights, tried to put it into gear but impossible. Switched the engine off, managed to get it into 2nd and limped home 😞.
Has anybody changed one of these? I know it’s a box out job but how much of a pain is it?
Also, just out of interest, has anybody had to change the clutch master cylinder?
Thanks folks!
