Just installed a set of VP carpets for my '66 122S. No issue with fit, and the Amazon logo embossed in the heel pad is a nice touch.

Shouldn't the carpet be over the heater duct?

I've only seen the heater duct installed on top, as was the case with the old carpet when I bought the car... I understand that Amazons came with rubber flooring instead of carpet, but was looking to bring it closest to what I thought was original config. Looking at the carpet layout, though, I see what you mean.

Volvo never fitted carpets just the rubber matting. The heater duct was under the rubber mat. I think that the ducting is only held in place by the rubber mat.
Hopefully VP actually do RHD carpet sets.

Other than the connection to the heater outlet and a screw at the aft end, the duct lays over the transmission tunnel with a hole for the shift lever.

Thanks for the info; wish I'd found this original Volvo photo depicting the placement of the duct earlier...
