Send to car

Works fine for me from Android. It does pop up very quickly in the car, and its easy to miss. However, if you swipe down from the top its usually still there, or go into the satnav app, and one of the tabs says something like "Received locations" and its in there as well.

If that's not working then I dont know what's wrong. Do the other VOC features work? (Like lock car etc.)

Yes, VOC features work.
I now managed to get a destination accross after starting my browser (Firefox) in safe mode.
So that could be a browser thing

Send to Car always works for me, however, there was one occasion where I could send a destination or initiate preconditioning. Drove the car for a bit, parked again, and the commands started working again. Also, there are server side issues sometimes.

Appreciate any feedback from others re Send To Car - new 2018 XC60 with VOC - can send multiple destinations via iPad VOC app, and all show 'location received'. However in the car, only the last sent destination is listed in Library/Received. Can never find others sent at the same time, which makes creating an itinerary, or group of destinations for a road trip very time consuming. Also, on entry to vehicle, dashboard display of car image showing if doors not closed or seatbelts not worn, takes a long while (2 mins driving) to disappear. So if using voice to set destination, and the navigation system tells you to 'select from list' you cannot see the list ! Ideas appreciated.

As far as I remember, if you press the OK button at the end of the left hand stalk, the image of the car disappears and you will see the normal dash display.

Doesn't that button reset the trip odometer as it does in the XC90?

I tried again today and it worked, both from computer and smartphone!
What I don't know is why it didn't work before...

I think you have to press and hold for it to reset the trip - a short press doesn’t reset it.

That's different in the XC90, a short press resets range only, a long press resets range and TM.

On the XC90 if you press the OK button on the right hand side of the steering wheel it cancels the car diagram and takes you to your normal between the dials info. It also cancels any pop up messages on the driver display unless there are actions shown at the bottom of the display.
