Speed sensitive steering
Hi.
Does anyone know of a site I can check some Volvo steering schematics. I’m trying to find the exact location of where the solenoid would be if the steering is sensitive or not. |

It's at the base of the column on the rack itself and you can see and access it from the OSF arch (wheel of) and also by going up behind the lower arm. It's a small cylinder shape, couple of inches in diameter with a two pin multiplug going to it. As far as I know, it's only the R that has speed sensitive steering on this model but don't quote me. As for schematics, lots of info online with testing procedures and such like as the speed sensitive system is totally removed from the rest of the car thus Vida is no use for diagnosis.
