Updated my quote on WBAC and they are now offering 2k more than I paid for my XC60 from a non-Volvo dealer in May 2019. Also offering what I paid for my 2019 Citroen Spacetourer in August 2020 from a Citroen main dealer and what I paid for my Aygo from a main Toyota dealer in December 2020. If I didn’t want to keep my cars, then now is the time to sell.

They won’t give me a price for my ‘68 MGC though, but that’s more of an ISA than a car though.

Can everyone stop selling their XC60's back to the dealers as I want one and I'm getting priced out in this crazy market!

If you are going to a dealer.
Just dont mention you are a cash buyer, or want a certain specific model (they probably cant get for a while)
Also say you are interested in a service plan, and paint protection.

Then right at the last minute, cancel the above.
Trust me you will be 1 in the que!

I just sold V90CC via motorway.com to a Volvo main dealer.

It was 3months old when I got it from Volvo main dealer and I’ve sold it 6 months later for 5% more than what I paid.

I wish I had bought 10 of them.

Good to hear people who have sold on motorway as I put my car on today. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll get more than I paid though

In today's market how much is a reasonable offer on a D5 R-Design Pro up at £30,500 at a Volvo dealer?

Get a WBAC quote and that’ll be roughly “trade” price I’d guess so add a bit for costs/profit but with 2nd hand values going up I can’t imagine they’ll be too interested to deal.

Its a sellers market for everything, which is great if you are selling but not so good if you need to buy another.....

I'm tempted to sell my Audi (as I have another car I can manage with in the interim) and get my money back (well not quite but more than the deposit I put in!) and buy again in the new year when the market is less buoyant. The trouble is the chip shortage may mean that I cant get a car with the options I want then...

Decisions, Decisions....
