Default Diagnostic Faults on potential 2011 C70 T5 Purchase

Hi everyone - I have always wanted a Volvo but it never worked out. And now I've randomly stumbled onto an '11 C70 that I love. However, the diagnostic report returned five faults:

CEM (Central Electronic Module) 2 Fault
1.1. 6C43 Start control module (SCU) faulty signal - Intermittent Fault
1.2. 8C20 Rear fog lamp faulty signal - Intermittent Fault
CEM-HS (Central Electronic Module B) 1 Fault
2.1. 8D09 Brake lamp left faulty signal - Intermittent Fault
RDAR (Remote Digital Audio Receiver) 1 Fault
3.1. 0001 Please refer to vehicle service manual!
CRM (Convertible Roof Module) 1 Fault
4.1. 2083 Hall sensor 11. invalid combination - Intermittent Fault

This is all foreign language to me, and all of the Volvo mechanics are booked into next week. Are these worthy of backing out of the purchase, or do they look like nothing to worry about? The maintenance records don't show that any electrical issues have been addressed.

Thanks so much for helping this newbie!

These don't look like codes from Volvo VIDA, more a generic code reader.

It's hard to know as codes are stored till they are erased, so many of these issues could be old and dealt with. Did these codes come back after clearing and rescanning?

Thanks for such a quick reply!

You're right, it would have been a generic reader, and the mechanic didn't clear anything (he just said to go see a Volvo person). Since there are no active indicators that show problems, I imagine the codes were cleared by someone along the way and came back during inspection.

But honestly, I am not at all mechanically- or technically- inclined, so I am just guessing here, sadly.

Thanks again...

get all the codes erased with vida. some cheap code readers cant remove some volvo codes. and go for a drive operate the roof mec then re read codes to see which if any have returned this could help you get the price lowered and work in your favour .
