Volvo s40 1.6 petrol 2002 - Issue with electrics
Hello everyone,
I have an issue with the electrical system. I have recently noticed that one of the headlights are not working. I have got a new bulb but it did not solve the problem. Then I measured the voltage at the bulb connector and it was 11.92V but once the bulb is inserted to the connector the voltage drops to zero. Can anyone help on this issue? Thanks. rynek71 is online now Report Post |

That's 100% the relay inside the CEM that failed. You can either get a replacement refurbished CEM, or get it repaired yourself, if your soldering skills are good and you have a good quality soldering station.
