Default Water pouring in cabin

Was driving home today, really heavy rain on dual carriageway so was doing about 50.

Suddenly as I was driving wage started to pour down from around where the sos on and around the black unit down into the centre display and onto the tunnel. Stopped then more poured in.

Made it home but sos buttons seem dead and the middle screen kept rebooting.

Called Volvo assist and awaiting their response.

Suspect there is a hole around the panoramic sunrooof and a build up of water which then came into the cabin.

Anyone else had similar (hopefully not)

U checked the drains at the front corners of the pan roof well? They can easily block

Didn’t know about those thanks. I had a quick look but couldn’t see anything but that’s sounds possible.

Asked the rescue company if they get many volvo’s. “not the old ones they are solid but the new ones yes’ followed by a sympathetic smile

Hmmm not covered by warranty is not good. If it’s not then the car will be going as soon as it can, it will be the last straw with it.

I love the car but has just had to many things go wrong, the electrics could be expensive if things have fried and not covered by warranty.

Hi
Dealer confirmed it was the sunroof drains and not covered by warranty. It’s ‘just one of those things’. Does anyone know how to keep the drains clear, dealer could not offer any advice

Thanks

Interesting, I've the same car and never cleaned/cleared mine. Where abouts do I do it exactly?

In Ireland so get plenty of rain!
