Thanks I saw someone say the same about activation just now when googling. Maybe I will just give it a go although it's £10 to begin with. Sounds like 200mb is more than enough for maps.

Shouldn't cost you anything unless you go over the 200Mb limit

This sounds very expensive and is not a true data only SIM which thus has activation problems, etc.

My option was the below which was a one off single cost for £34 for 12GB data to be used over up to 12 months - if it runs out before 12 months you just throw it away & buy a new one. Perfect for a data only use with no monthly subs, etc.

This is the 3 sim from "Mymemory" most people use (£27:99 at the moment) Amazon has the 24gb 24 months sim for £44.

This is the one that I use. Lucky XC90 drivers have an easily-reached socket for it in the boot but XC60 owners, which I have now become, have a hard-to-use socket in the footwell. I got a nice young lady at the dealers to put mine in!

If you want to try one without the £10 up front, go here

My Memory have the 12gb, 12 month sim in offer at 16% less until midnight tonight!

I just got 2 one for the car and one for my Samsung tablet, ready for when the existing ones run out.

Good spot Driver Dave. @ £23:48
Anyone wanting one use the Mymemory site rather than ebay. And discount code MM16

Word of warning, do not go for EE sim card unless you are sure it will work on any data device!

Bought a pre-loaded data sim but apparently it's the wrong kind, it was very painful activating (which I had to do on a phone) and it won't work with PSIM.

Shame though as had brilliant 4G.
