Default Diesel primer c30 2.0d

Hi, does anyone know what size diesel primer is needed for the 2.0d c30? I think it's 8 or 10 mm but couldn't find the answer. Thank you

It doesn't need a primer.

I've been told the 2.0d doesn't self prime so when changing the fuel filter it needs a diesel primer

if its the same as a c70 2.0d . it will need fuel pulling through with a hand held primer bulb .it has no in tank pump . any primer will do if it will seal at fuel pipe joint

It's the 136bhp engine which is a Peugeot engine I believe? Theirs different size connectors on the primers though, do you remember which size you used? 8mm/10mm? Thanks

You remove the return then crank the engine until fuel flows then reconnect the return.
Like I said earlier, it doesn't need a primer.

I went to a scrappy and got a hand primer from a Laguna. I cut the filter inlet pipe and added it in line. Works fine. As said, the 2.0d has no fuel pump, it's a pressurised system. When replacing the filter, make sure you fill the housing with fuel, this will help . I've replaced mine several times now and I've left the primer fitted and had no issues.

Thanks guys, I've watched the Mr fix video but he didn't say which size he used. I think It might be the 8mm connector. Thanks again
