Default C70 D5 addative codes.

Hi all, just had a mate call round with his 2010 C70 D5, down on power no guts at all.
First thought was DPF needing a regen.
Pluged in diagnostics and it come up with a few codes but mostly saying addative pump, pump signal weak signal and no pump signal.
I have a car in bits over the pit so couldn't look underneath.
Is this correct that it needs an addative put in for it to be able to regen. the DPF??.
Any ideas please.

Thanks Simon.

Definitely nothing to do with additive as it doesn't have an additive tank.
Car ideally needs to be read with VIDA software, could be a number of things causing low boost from decoupled hoses, faulty O2 sensor, faulty DPF sensors, faulty MAP and MAF, broken turbo actuator wiring.

Thanks for the reply, i didn't think it had an addative tank.
I did try a regen. but it wouldn't let me due to the 3 codes stated earlier, i can't use my VIDA as my laptop died the other week.
I'll just have to wait until i can get it over the pit and check everything out.

Cheers Simon.

Had a look today and still coming up with 3 codes for additive pump plus DPF pressure sensor.
So will have car back next week and check out sensor, just can't figure out why it's saying addative system when one is not fitted.
Bloody cars are a pain in the bum on times, will keep you all updated

Because generic readers aren't VIDA and won't give you the proper answer.

Right here we go a bit of an update.
I'm a bit of a dick, iwas told it was a D5, didn't check just belived what i was told.
Turns out it's a 2.0d and has got a ADM, upon checking it was empty so topped it up.
Plugged diagnostics in still showing 2 codes ADM faulty signal but unable to clear them so wnet to local Volvo indy, he reset the faults and said that it basically needed the milage reset for the tank fill.
Great drove 200 yards and no service required message, whay fixed.
Spoke to soon 2 miles and up came the message again bugger, slowed down for next town message gone.
Well message was off and on rest of the way home but no limp mode.
Tried diagnostics when i got home, loads of codes, 2 ADM faulty signal, DPF sensor, DPF blocked ( checked on live data 52 Kpa at idle so ok) and brake light switch fault,
Any ideas or am i looking at a wiring fault.
Forgot to say if it does go into limp mode turn off and back and it clears but it does not replicate how long or far you have driven before the nex limp mode it is totallt erratic making me think it might be a electicical problem.
