Posting photos after Photobuckets $400 chance! - Page 2

We are on an iPad so have had problems trying to get them from photobucket as by the time you copy and paste the first one then try for another the first link has gone 😞 I wish I had know about the paper clip a while ago 😀

So my images stored on photobucket. Can they be downloaded back to my hard drive?
A number of images on there go back sometime and i dont believe they are on my current laptop. Are they recoverable without paying a $400 fee?

Just reading up about it..ridiculous... looks like they are holding people's images to ransom.

Russ. I've read of several people who have downloaded their image on PB back down onto their hard drive. One inferred he got them all down in one go but I don't know how many he had. All of the images I've got in my PB folder have been downsized from the original to make them usable on forums so I have them on my hard drive anyway but it would be good to get them all in one folder to save having to search all over the place when I want to use them again. Some are quite big sets. Essen and Sywell shows for instance.

I have several thousand images on Photobucket. I was one that was paying $30 to have more space. Looks like I am good to post until the end of the year and then I will have to upgrade $399. Which I will not do. I had all my images on my hard drive, so no problem there. I am now using postimage. I like it because it allows you to resize the images when you upload them. Some forums have restrictions on size and that can become a pain.

Yes, your image worked. If you want to have the image show up without a link in the post, go to share on the image, copy and paste the second from the bottom or the hotlink for forums right into the post. That is what I did to make this image show up.
