Default water 'sloshing' sound whenb I turn a corner

Hi

I own a Volvo V70 SE D Auto 2008 and have noticed since I purchased it 2nd hand that there is a sound of water sloshing from left to right and vice versa coming from the very bottom of the windscreen, where I would expect water to drip down off the screen and then (usually) drain away.

I've had a look under the bonnet, but there is no seemingly obvious plug to pull or remedy. Is there an easy way to drain this? Is it a pain in the backside and also thinking about all that extra weight I have to carry around = £££

Thanks in advance

Christian

It sounds like your screen seal has failed in the past. You may be able to get Volvo to drain it for you (and have the screen checked / replaced if original) all possibly free of charge. Take a look at the thread at the top of this forum page about it. Hope this helps.

Hi V4E, please could you post a pic or diagram of exactly where to drill?
