XC90: sat nav disc cannot read

My sat nav would not work for ages got an 2005 xc90 .tried cleaning map disc no good.Just kept on saying cannot read disc.I brought a volvo cleaning disc and bingo it worked.Volvo wanted £25 just to look at it.Had a bargain with the disc brought off ebay for £7 genuine item.Does anyone know if the updated map disc will work in my system many thanks.

This site tells you the current disc that Volvo will sell you:
Volvo Navigation site - pop in your model and year and it gives you the current DVD, which should work in your system. We're still on the trusty TomTom, haviong not quote plucked up the courage to spend almost £200 on the new discs from Volvo - we bought our XC90 a month ago but no discs for the satnav (from an independent garage).

I bought a Volvo Xc90 2003. The Volvo did not have a sat nav navigation disc...so then i bought one from Sat-Navi for £35.00.Of course then i inserted it into my sat-nav port underneath the passenger seat. The screen pops up and says '' The map disc cannot be read, please use a Volvo navigation cleaning disc'.'' But the thing is I cannot seem to find a Cleaning disc anywhere, I have been searching every where....ebay,amazon etc. Can anyone help me by giving me a website that sells volvo navigation cleaning disc? Need it asap.

Really Need Help,I have a upcoming holiday and really need a sat-nav, I could just buy a tom-tom but then thats 100 quid.

Your volvo dealer will sell the cleaning disc , ordinary ones wont work , the bristles on the volvo one are longer .... 30732914 is the part number
