Default V70 SE Auto 2000

I've decided to keep my 940 in favour of the V70 - tried to keep both but the tax / ins is a killer to that idea !

V70 SE [ 2.4 / 140bhp ] - see pix.

A/C, heated leather seats, Climate control, elec windows, tilt wheel, PAS - everything works as it should. On board computer. A/C will probably need re-gassing.

Silver with beige leather interior. Has OEM dog guard [ no dogs ! ] roof bars and removable tow bar. Only occasionally towed motorcycle trailer.

Currently SORN'ed - last MOT expires Dec 2017 ]. Required one side light bulb and no advisories. The MOT guy commented on how good the car was underneath.

Drives perfectly, no issues, smoke, rattles etc. ALL fluids changed at last MOT [ 154K miles ], including trans. Average driven normally is 30mpg - 36mpg on a run. New battery fitted [500 miles ago ].

Paintwork is excellent with minor parking scuff on front bumper [ not me ! ] and some loading scratches on top of rear bumper.

All in all an excellent everyday car. I looked at dozens of cars for 3 months before I settled on this one. Just need to tax insure and enjoy.

Offers north of £700

That must surely be one of the very last P1 V70s.
You did well selling it in the P2 section.

The buyer has had to pull out of his offer of purchase following a sudden illness.

So car is back on the market.

Apologies to those who were seriously interested enough to make an offer.

I will put this in the correct category as well.

Car is currently stored ( sorn'd ) but has had a full check over and pre sale prep. and is ready to go.

Starting it weekly to keep the new battery topped up.

That buyer was me, and indeed it's entirely a health problem that has forced me very reluctantly to withdraw.

Cheers

Sorry to hear that Capn I hope you are now on the road very much to recovery.

Thought I had read somewhere that your daughter had been foolish enough to chuck in the Note in exchange for a Mini - is she crackers !!!!!!

Thanx for all your advice re the Note, I am thus far very impressed! Great legroom, 47mpg, comfortable. Yes it is a Nippon tin can with diabolically high pedal settings, devoid of character but is doing me just fine. My lad has now mastered the clutch pedal in his third month of learning. Just got the R back on the road and let him take the wheel down the lanes. He was impressed and prefers it to the Note - he is not paying for the tyres and brake pads I hasten to add !!

All the best
