Cool, think that makes it the highest sold RWD Volvo this year, eclipsing a 240 at £8228.

The record for highest priced 740 was also set this year - a 740 GLE estate with 35,000 miles fetched £6260 in August.

Now here's a rare one. A low mileage V90 3.0 with an M90 and in the best colour. Clean interior and boot. Will it crack 10k?!???

Here we have a fine example of the renowned Volvo Estate. The rare v90 is the last of the true rear wheel drive Volvos, with a huge load capacity, high quality tow bar with dual electrics and the sweet 2.9L 24V engine, only just run-in at 116k, very low mileage for a car which will soon become a classic.

I've owned it since 2015 and it's been nothing but a pleasure - reliable and comfortable. This model has heated front seats, electric windows all round, electric mirrors and a 6 CD changer audio set up. You can see from the photos that some of the lacquer on the bumpers has peeled off but as these are plastic it's cosmetic only. No surface rust on the bodywork. I fitted the optional two seats in the rear which have come in very handy and there's still a spare wheel underneath. Everything works as it should except the aircon (wasn't working when I bought it and haven't bothered to fix it, could just need a re-gas), the sunroof has been sealed (which can be removed) as one of the drains was blocked but I never used it anyway. The car is very quiet and all gears engage as they should. The engine is powerful and it's surprising how economical it is on a run.

I have had it serviced every year and there are plenty of invoices for these and the bits I've had done (radiator, cambelt, brake discs & pads, tyres etc.) MOT is until November 2024 and no advisories. This car has got years of motoring left and is eligible for classic car status in three years' time.

Any questions, please ask.

Funny spec that. I didn't realise a V90 could come with the fascia panels in cream rather than fake wood. And cloth seats.
With the current climate I'd be surprised if it cracks 5k. But please let someone prove me wrong because I want to sell my very similar V90 soon. It's on 200k miles now so guaranteed to be worth a bit less.

No alloys either, and I thought you could only get a manual box with the 2.5litre lump rather than the 3litre (2.9litre in the ad) one... Or has someone been doing a mix'n'match?

Yep, my understanding is that only the 2.5 could be had with a manual gearbox. BUT it is registered as a 3.0 manual...

Nice MoT history, nothing to worry about there for a change.

But, does that coolant reservoir look empty?

First off, apologies, trying to reply on my phone I accidentally pressed “report post”. Complete accident due to small screen and poor near vision. Hopefully, nothing will come of that.

I think the consensus when this has been discussed before is that you could order a S90/V90 3.0 with manual transmission but most original purchasers didn’t so it is very rare to find one.

Agree with Forrest, as far as I know the S/V90 could be specced with an M90 with the 3.0.

The 2.5 litre was replaced by a detuned 180bhp 3.0 litre when the 960 became S90/V90. You could get a manual gearbox with the said engine.

£3101 in the end. Might be able to get around £2500 for mine then. Here's hoping...
