Tech drawing
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone out there could upload a picture of a side & top view of a car. I don't know the technical name for what I'm after, but I'm talking about the type of "tech drawing" that you get when you hire a car, the thing that hirer's mark the details of any scratches, dents, missing trim etc. on the car before you hire it. Does that make sense? Thanks in advance, friedfrog.

Hi Friedfrog,
What you're looking for is a "third angle orthographic projection" (of a car). I've had a quick look on Google but all it retrieves are design course prospectuses for American colleges! There are some partials (showing top ("plan") and one side elevation) in the Volvo brochures in the car information section of this website- could be a starter for ten. Dave |
