how nice is that !!!! that's got to be the best I've ever seen, unbelievably low mileage, unbelievably high price.

although to be fair (and through gritted teeth) if the mileage and condition are as stated then you're essentially looking at 2 year old car !!
still a whole lot of cash though |

£3800- and seems to have just got past its reserve!
Yee gods- I thought there was a recession on!! The question is- what exactly would ya do with a car like this- granted its condition is rare but it's a 240 volvo!! Meant to be used, abused, driven and enjoyed!! Personnally I was drooling over the blue '81 244dl with seized brakes- oh if i only live in england... chris

Well, at the risk of being a minority of one, I think it's worth that money if it's A1 in every way.
If it's bought by a collector/concours person and kept in perfect condition, with very low mileage, I think it's likely to be worth more in 5/10 years time. Alternatively, for someone in the market for a "normal" £4k used car... where else could they buy this level of quality, character, mileage and charm? (BTW it's not mine and nothing to do with me!!) Hiya,
I'm selling my 240GLT it's a 1984 with the B23E engine. last owner since 1986 and 118,000 miles. Have just completed a 2,700 mile trip without missing a beat!! On ebay at the moment. I'm hoping to get around what I paid for her (£500), though the auction is no reserve. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...%3DI%26otn%3D1 Last edited by matbat; Jul 6th, 2009 at 07:27.
