Thanks for the nice comments. Indeed the car was originally fitted with the flat bonnet. See below picture. As far as I'm informed by the previous owner this volvo must have had these wheel all his/her live.

Instead of the glt engine I'm tempted to go for the B23ET or later B230ET but the motormanagement is stopping me at the moment. Though I might be preparing such a swop with a motormanagement system I recently bought. Perhaps I better go for this turbo option instead and you might just have been the last push to go for it.

Go for it!

An immaculate turbo auto 245 would be a very nice machine!

Can I suggest that you do a project thread with photos on the forum; I would find it interesting and I'm sure others would too.
