Default Heat Exchanger Transplant

I posted this earlier in the standard V70 section but didn't know whether it would be better off here.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but here goes.

Is it possible to fit a D5 Heat Exchanger (almost twice the volume as standard T5) to aformentioned T5 crankcase, to assist in oil cooling? I realise that some modification might be needed as the two seals are different shapes.

2007 2.4L 260bhp T5.

Thanks in advance for any info

yes, ive ran this exact setup on my 850 with an ME7 sump. you may need new water hose as the formed elbows are slightly different and existing dont fit the D5 cooler as theyre too short
