Default Front wheel bearing fitment?

We're changing them, parts supplied by Brookhouse, They come with two metal rings, one deeper than the other (see pic) and we don't know why/ which one to use. Both fit on the larger bearing sitting on the outside/ wheel side of the hub, but one sits deeper than the other.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Thanks Bob. It's useful to watch, but he seems to have just the one ring. We've gone ahead with the shallower of the two, it seems to fit better, hopefully it'll be fine!
