GLT For Sale !!
Hi to all. I'm being forced to sell my Blue/Green GLT. I had planed on shipping it to the states when I go back, but the US Gov ! says it's 3 years too new for me to take home. I'm the 3rd owner, it had 80.000 then, it now has just over 1000.000 miles on it. All new brakes including emergency shoes new exhaust with orig. Volvo tail pipe. Volvo brand cam belt and German made water pump at 93.000miles I put a rebuilt Bosch case alternator about the same time. The only thing I haven't changed is the fuel pump (still works fine). I bought the car for my wife to drive back and fourth to work, so I have always put new parts on it, rather than wondering about when they would fail on her. I have a car lift at my disposal so I have done all the work myself. Just changed the plugs ,fuel relay and HTleads. I had to get the HTs without the heatsheilds on them! The car has a full service history till the day I bought it. I changed the oil every 2500 to 3000miles with synthetic. Has Tax and MOT till end of January. Last MOT came with an advisory for a control arm bushing and one tire. No rust or wielding now or ever underneath. It has a small dent on the drivers rear arch can be fixed easily and has bubbling around the windscreen. These are things I was going to fix along the way. The car runs and handles great. Orig radio cassette black leather, floor mats sunroof tool kit roof bars. Basically all original except for the tow hitch. I'm going home very soon and I need to find a new owner for this car. It's to good to scrap!. Make me an offer!! Thanks PM me or call. Shawn 078529884522 http://entertainment.webshots.com/ph...45447839DprkHP

That looks really very nice, if you get no takers on here it's probably best to try ebay, nice 200's are still selling fairly strong on there. Good luck!

Nice looking car, I would give you 150 for it, but is worth more to somone who is actualy looking to buy one now, and not just wishing he could own all the 240 in the country, without money to buy them. It would join a cherished colection of 244's.
PM me if interested. |

Thanks Dan but I have a guy who wants the wheels for 175 pounds, if I decide to break it. I would take 400 ono. It's a good old car, very dependable drive it anywhere. Thanks

Wow, that looks like a bargain. Is it an auto or manual? Is there definately NO rust?
Im really after an estate but this looks like a slighty less barge-like more economical alternative to my 944 turbo.

Hi, I would give you 150 for it without the wheels, as I have a set of wheels for it. Daniel.
