Smile Looking for really nice 340 1.4 - for an enthusiast

Hi everyone,

Am on the lookout for a really nice 340 1.4, for myself, to run and maintain in first class condition long term.

I am a long term Volvo and SAAB enthusiast. I have had 2 of these Volvo babies in the past, and have a genuine affection for them. One I bought myself in Eastbourne when it was 10 years old, and had 16,000 genuine miles on the clock, from Ridleys, the Volvo dealer. It had the CVT transmission, and never gave me any bother. The other one was a manual, which I inherited from my father. He had the car from new, and that one never have me any bother either.

I am just sick of modern cars with all their expensive electrickery, just waiting to go wrong. I have survived 61 years, without all these modern 'essentials'

Please let me know if you hear of anything, am not bothered about distance for the right car

Many thanks,

Kind regards,

Stephen
