850 T5 CD Estate with RICA ecu remap for sale
After much deliberation i have decided to sell my trusty T5, i dont have the tools/knowledge or expertise to carry out the few repairs it needs.
First about the car itself: 1995 (96 spec) 850 T5 CD Estate Metallic Blue Has the RICA ecu remap 219,000 miles All the usual extras including the trendy wooden steering wheel :0) couple of months tax and MOT left, no advisories last MOT Toyo T1R tyres on the back with a decent amount of tread, Dunlop Sport Maxx on the front only been on the car for about 4 weeks Total of 7 Alloys, 5 on the car 2 in the garage Full leather with no rips or tears, also has the funny child/booster seat fitted into the rear center armrest (not sure if this was standard) Second, Known Faults: Starter motor is making a hell of a racket atm OSF shock absorber needs replacement OSF Wishbone ball joint needs replacement (possible whole wishbone as the little plastic steering stop has partly come off, only £40 tho) A/C dosnt get very cold, not sure if it just needs gas or if anything else is wrong there I currently have a full Alpine stereo system in the car which i will ofc be taking out so no stereo or door speakers are going to be in the car (sold the original headunit/CD and speakers to someone on this site about 6 years ago) There are some holes in the passenger side of the dash where a hands free kit was fitted by a previous owner, small and hardly noticeable. A few little dints and some scratches you would expect from a car of this age but no major damage to any of the body work. I had the rear main oil seal and clutch replaced about 4 years ago, not too sure what the life expectancy is with them though. the car drives lovely and i am still using it at the moment to get to and from work, little bit creaky on the OSF when going over potholes etc or on full right lock, but other than that drives fine. I am sure that someone with the right knowledge and expertise would be able to do the work themselves for a fraction of the price i would have to pay a garage to do it, and give this car a whole new lease of life. Of course it could be used for spares but would be a shame as it still works well and drives well. I live in Fareham, midway between Portsmouth and Southampton. Open to any offers, PM me and also happy to answer any questions you may have. Will try and get some photos up tomorrow when i get home from work. |
