I thought the T5 was a relatively low pressure turbo? With the "R" having the higher pressure? I've not done any mods (yet).

Don't do it. Buy genuine Volvo.

I ignored everyone who gave me this advice and regretted it! Within about 3 days I was down at Volvo buying genuine plugs. The car ran like a total dog, cutting out, engine lights, mess, I honestly could not believe it and they were the so called OEM exact match etc etc...

I don't know what Volvo have made for them but they have something made specially under license I am almost certain.

Haha yea deffo. Same for discs and pads. They hardly wear at all. Very impressed.
